KTA is an excellent nonlinear optical
crystal for Optical Parametric Oscillation (OPO) Application.
Comparing with KTP, KTA features better nonlinear optical
and electro-optical coefficients, significantly smaller
absorption in the 2.0-5.0¦Ìm spectral range, low dielectric
constants, low ionic conductivities, result in higher damage
threshold than KTP.
